Information the App Processes
When you record, CapturE processes camera video, optional microphone audio, motion-sensor measurements, recording settings, and timing information. Each session produces video.mov, sensors.csv, and metadata.json.
Camera and Video
CapturE uses the camera for its live preview and to record video at your selected settings. Recorded video is saved locally as video.mov.
Microphone and Audio
CapturE uses the microphone only when audio recording is enabled and permission is granted. It does not use the microphone for messaging, voice identification, or background listening.
Motion and Device Sensors
CapturE processes accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and device-attitude measurements during recording. Sensor values and timestamps are written to sensors.csv.
Local Storage
Recording folders are stored locally on your iPhone. CapturE does not provide company-operated cloud storage. You control whether files are transferred through iOS Files, device file sharing, or another method you choose.
Data Sharing
CapturE does not intentionally collect or transmit recordings to a company server. It has no advertising, social-media, messaging, or chat features. Data leaves the device only when you choose to transfer or share it.
Data Retention
Recordings remain on your device until you transfer or remove them. CapturE does not intentionally upload a company-server copy for retention.
Account Information
CapturE does not require a user account or login. License verification is performed offline and is not used to upload your recordings.
Children's Privacy
CapturE is a general-purpose recording tool, not a service designed specifically for children. A parent or guardian should supervise a child's use of its camera, microphone, and sensor features.
Security
Recordings are protected by your iPhone's security controls and those of any service or device to which you transfer them. Secure your device, install iOS updates, and take care when exporting sensitive files.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated if CapturE's features or data practices change. Revisions will appear here with an updated effective date.
